When Charlie finds one of the five golden tickets to the Wonka Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the other winners can’t wait to feast on the sweets of their dreams. But beyond the gates, they discover more than just remarkable edible delights. As they embark on an extraordinary journey through Willy Wonka’s marvellous mind, they soon learn that nobody leaves the same way that they arrived…

10 year old Thomas Everard plays Charlie Bucket in the upcoming show. He joins us in the WRS studio to talk about the musical and what he loves about being on stage with a great team of amazing fellow actors. He shares what he's most looking forward to next week and hints at some of the special effects we can expect in the production.
We're also joined by Victoria Corlass, Head of Academy at Simply Theatre, for an overview of what Simply Theatre offer for kids aged 4-18, an overview of the various classes and productions on offer, and taster sessions this May for those interested in joining next September.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory takes place 8-16 March at the Casino Theatre in Geneva.
