This morning on the WRS Breakfast Show, Tamara from Kids Zone popped in to share some fabulous springtime outings for the whole family!
First up, the Morges Tulip Festival is back from March 28 to May 11 at Parc de l’Indépendance. With over 140,000 tulips in bloom, it’s totally Instagram-worthy—and entry is free! It’s perfect for all ages, especially on a sunny day. Don’t miss the weekend family events, and definitely bring a picnic.
Next, take a forest adventure at the Aubonne Arboretum. Just a 30-minute drive from Geneva or Lausanne, it offers scenic trails, 3,000+ tree species, and a wood museum. Entry is 10 CHF for adults, and kids go free.
Then there’s the Geneva Botanical Gardens—a free, centrally located gem with tropical greenhouses, animals, and interactive kids’ trails.
And finally, hop over the border to Yvoire’s Jardin des Cinq Sens—a magical sensory garden in a medieval village, reopening April 13.
