Thierry Jobin is a Swiss film critic, journalist, and the Director of the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF). Known for his passion for cinema, Thierry has contributed significantly to promoting global and independent films. He has played a key role in shaping the festival’s identity, emphasising cultural diversity, emerging filmmakers, and innovative storytelling in cinema.

He joins Katt Cullen on the WRS Breakfast Show to talk about investigative cinema, Sri Lankan cinema and the use of comedy in storytelling to provide contrast, humanize naratives, and offer moments of relief while addressing serious themes.
