Dogs Angels rescue dogs from Eastern Europe and re-home them in Switzerland and neighbouring France. They also sponsor dogs that they can't re-home to cover medical costs, shelter and food etc. It's a non-profit organisation run by 4 volunteers and runs on donations from the public.
For their current fundraiser, they're teaming up with Mont Blanc Photography in Geneva to shine a light on some very photogenic dogs! The competition encourages pet owners to send in photos of their dogs, and then furthermore to encourage friends, family and fellow dog-lovers to vote on the cutest dog out there. Each vote costs EUR 1.
The grand prize is a full doggy photoshoot and choice of wall art (prize value CHF 920) and the winning dog will be the cover photo of the 2024 Dogs Angels' Calendar. 11 runners up will receive a mini-photo shoot and mounted pic of their pup. Mont Blanc Photography will be offering their time, services and prizes for free as a means to raise funds for Dogs Angels, so 100% of the funds will go directly to helping the dogs.
The competition is already open and runs until 31 October 2023.
