Unemployment up - but still a lack of skills

Unemployment is up slightly - but it remains the lowest January level for the last 20 years.

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs says just over 100,000 are out of work - a rise of point 1 percent at 2.2%.

The jobless rate normally rises a bit in the winter – but this year is down 21,000 from this time last year.

Economists say the lack of skilled workers is more of a problem than unemployment.
