A bomb scare on a train in canton Solothurn caused major problems last night across the network- and an arrest of a man.

The train was stopped at Däniken station after a report of a bomb just after 9pm. Passengers were evacuated and the train searched. Nothing was found.

Swiss Federal Railways say the stopped train caused cancellations and delays elsewhere.

A 49-year-old was arrested and questioned by police.
