Some Ukrainian refugees head home

Some Ukrainian refugees who have come to Switzerland are now beginning to return home, according to the State Secretary for Migration, Christine Schraner.

So far, this country has taken in around 40,000.

Some Ukrainians believe there are now areas of the country which are safer as the fighting now seems to be concentrated around the Dombass region in the east.

Polish police on the border with Ukraine say last week the initial surge of people leaving has slowed tremendously – and now more are returning than leaving.

Globally, the UNHCR say 600,000 Ukrainians have gone back home.
