It may seem counter-intuitive, but to handle the problem of litter on the beaches around the lake it could mean taking the bins away.
It’s an idea already in action in Morges in canton Vaud. And now another commune, Préverenges is thinking of doing the same.
The logic behind the move is if there are no bins, then people will take their trash home with them.
It’s a philosophy already used in the mountains.
