A 27-year-old man has been sentenced to three years in prison for his part in a scam ring that targeted the elderly and vulnerable.
The common trick was to call the potential victims and pretend to be either a bank worker or a police officer and persuade them to hand over their cards and PIN number.
The man acted as a courier for the gang.
As he’s a French national he’ll be deported at the end of his jail time and then banned from re-entering Switzerland for five years.
