A worker at Geneva’s Champ-Dollon prison has been sacked after cocaine was found in his home.
He was arrested after he just purchased 10 grams of the drug. He admitted he’d been using the drug for the last 5 years.
He’s also accused of violating secrecy laws by informing his drug dealers about acquaintances who may or may not be in prison.
Authorities say the man was at risk of being blackmailed. His lawyer disagrees and says the sacking is disproportionate and plans to take the matter to court.
