Police in the city of Bern are asking for any witnesses who may have seen a stabbing on a tram on Saturday afternoon.
The victim was able to get off and seek help himself.
The attack was on a tram just before the Europaplatz stop. The attacker is described as 1 meter 80 tall and around 30 years old.
Police are not releasing any motive for the attack.
