Picture of stolen bike leads to further investigation

A picture of a stolen motorcycle in the papers has helped solve another theft.

Last week, the press followed the story of a man who manged to track down his stolen bike. It was taken in Geneva – but discovered in an underground car park in Lyon thanks to GPS tracking.

The owner took a picture, which the papers published.

Another victim of a Geneva bike theft recognised his blue carrying box which was attached to his bike when it went missing.
