Offical: frontaliers earn more than those in France

It won’t be a surprise to learn that those living in France and working in Switzerland earn more than those living and working in France.

But the latest figures from the cantonal statistics office show by how much – 2.72 times.

The figures are for those who live in either the Pays de Gex or Haute Savoie.

Elsewhere in the country, it's similar, but not quite as good.

Those who cross the border from Basel earn around 2.5 times.
