Hôpital de la Tour have launched their Movember campaign to raise awareness for prostate cancer and men’s health.
Prostate cancer remains one of the most common cancers in men, particularly after the age of 50.
Movember, an international campaign dedicated to men's health, represents a key moment to inform and raise awareness - by growing a moustache.
The Hôpital de la Tour will be holding a cycling event within the B11 hall at the hospital. For each kilometer pedaled, CHF 1.- will be donated to the Fondation de l’Hôpital de La Tour. Anyone can participate.
There will also be well-being and self-confidence days for men specifically, a giant inflatable prostate 25 and 26 November 2024 with information sessions and tours. Also, there will be photo booths to take photos of your Movember moustaches on 19 November.
Through its initiatives, the hospital aims to highlight the importance of comprehensive care and increase awareness.
If you’ve entered the country through the airport recently, you may have noticed several new machines in the immigration area being kept, literally, under wraps.
