Figures just out from the Rega Air Rescue Service shows it had the busiest season in its 70-year history.
Helicopters took off almost 21,000 times last year – up 16% on the year before. That works out at 58 times a day.
14,000 people were taken to hospital by helicopter.
Rega says it was down to the summer weather and more of us taking advantage of the big outdoors.
