Private schools in Geneva are fighting a new cantonal law which is designed to align the public and private sectors.
But it’s been done at very short notice.
One major change is the age at which children will start. Sean Power, President of the Geneva Association of Private Schools, says the normal age for children to start school in Geneva is sometimes incompatible with the different curricula that international schools run.
