It was the hottest day of the year so far in Visp in canton Valais. Temperatures hit 30 degrees on Saturday afternoon.
Forecasters say it will stay warm for a while yet with a high-pressure system ensuring the sun will stay, especially in Valais and in southern areas of the country for the next few days.
