Major queues formed at the Gotthard Tunnel yesterday afternoon after an accident closed it.
Ticino police say the crash happened at the southern end and it only caused minimal damage. But jams of more than 2 km formed at both ends.
The tunnel was closed at around 2pm and then reopened just after 3.30.
