Geneva has once again taken top spot as the most congested city in the country. Last year the dubious title went to Lugano – but that’s now back in second place.
The rankings have been drawn up by an American company INRIX which studies cities around the world.
On a global ranking, Geneva is at 65.
Although all cities have seen traffic drop during the pandemic, Geneva benefited the least. Jams in Basel were down 66% and in Bern, down 33%. In Geneva, only a 19% improvement.
But which city is the worst in the world for jams according to the survey? Bogota.
