Geneva police raid campsite

Geneva police are still not releasing any further information following a heavily armed raid on a caravan at a campsite in Satigny on Sunday evening.

Witnesses say their relaxing evening was shattered by a swat team in full armour with several vehicles arriving on site and surrounding a caravan.

All the bystanders were told to go inside and stay there.

After around 20 minutes, a person was taken away and the campers were told everything is safe.

Police have confirmed the operation at the Val de l’Allondon campsite to the press – but are not saying anything else.
