Flu continues its rampage

Switzerland remains in the grip of a flu epidemic.

Last week, the number of cases hit a new record high. The Federal Health Office says the worse is yet to come.

Doctors say this flu wave comes with a surprisingly persistent cough.

The advice to avoid infection is the same as that given during covid: Wash hands, use disinfection, wear a mask and don’t get to close to others.

Also, get vaccinated. The health office recommends anyone over 65 should get jabbed.
