A flag maker in canton Aargau is churning out Ukrainian flags as fast as he can.
Samuel Keller owns Alpfahnen, and as soon as the war broke out, he was overwhelmed by demand.
Normally the small company makes 40 flags a day – but now they’re producing 250 and the factory is operating almost 24 hours a day.
Different types of flags are available. Ones to hang from the balcony – which is the biggest seller – to the ones for flag poles.
Keller says he’s charging enough to cover the costs for the flags at the moment – he also wants to show his support for Ukraine.
The low cost also allows volunteer groups to sell on the flags to raise money for good causes.
