Few march in Geneva against Covid restrictions

Fewer than 200 people marched from the Place des Nations in Geneva to the World Health Organisation to protest the measures imposed to fight the coronavirus.

Carrying banners calling for ‘freedom’ and claiming cultural life is essential, the marchers walked quietly along the road to the WHO.

One of the protestors talking to the Tribune de Genève, claims the restrictions are disproportionate, saying there are 284 people in intensive care out of a population of 8.6 million.

While the gathering was against the law, the police watched and took no action.
