Executive pay is being highlighted by the Unia union.

It points out the head of UBS, Sergio Ermotti, earnt over CHF 14m for nine months, working out at around CHF 84,000 a day. More than the average Swiss salary.

The head of Nestlé, Ulf Mark Schneider, took home more than CHF11m.

The union points out that pay for the lowest earners has barely moved, while executives have had rises of more than 3% on average.
