Around 100 cyclists took to the road in Geneva yesterday, protesting the death of cyclists and calling for more cycle paths.
The group cycled from Paquis to Carouge.
The pressure group Pro-Vélo says three cyclists have died in four months and the situation is getting worse. They claim the number of accidents involving drunk drivers was up 15% last year.
But those numbers are disputed by the police. They say one cyclist died last year – and the year before it was two.
