A car smashed into the market in Rive in Geneva on Saturday morning – seriously injuring one person.
Witnesses say the car was being driven at very high speed along Boulevard Helvetique towards the lake, when it lost control, hit a parked van and careered into the market shorty after 6am.
The injured man and the driver were both taken to hospital.
The police say they’re waiting on blood tests from the driver to determine if they were under the influence of drink or drugs.
