Athletic jumping on display

An athletic event involving everything about jumping and leaping will be on display this weekend on the Quai Gustave-Ador in Geneva.

On Saturday, a pole-vault competition with the Swiss European champion, Angelica Moser, and the long jump paralympic gold medallist Fleur Jong.

There’ll be demonstration events with other professional athletes across the weekend.

It’s being called a ‘first’ in Geneva that allows athletes to leave the stadium and get closer to the audience, according to councillor, Marie Barbey-Chappuis.
