The annual Gift Box Appeal is now in full swing. The operation has been running for nearly 30 years and sends boxes of 'goodies' to underprivileged children in Eastern Europe - including Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and Bulgaria.
You don't need to donate anything expensive - but many things we take for granted will be loved by the children.
Useful items for school, such as exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers etc. A few toiletries - soap, shampoo - toothbrush and toothpaste. A small toy (not battery operated, could be secondhand - but in good condition. Some hand down winter clothes, scarves, gloves etc (socks, if included, must be new - but will be very welcome).
