Gardening can turn out to be surprisingly expensive quite quickly sometimes, but not if you follow Hester's tips. She's helping our gardens bloom and blossom from food scraps, off-cuts, or using a technique called layering.
She also has some great ideas for free or very low price gardening activities, including the Morges Tulip Festival (now through mid-June), visit Pontus Wallstén Plants (appointment only), Coppet Garden Festival* (in May) NB - Coppet Garden Festival has a ticket price of CHF 10 for adults (day pass), and free workshops once you're inside.
