Wicked (cinema release): Many years before Dorothy finds herself in the Land of Oz, Elphaba and Galinda make their way to Shiz University. The two are forced to share a dormitory room, much to both of their disgust. This movie is part 1 of 2 that begins to tell the story of Elphaba’s path to becoming the Wicked Witch of the West, and Galinda's path to becoming Glinda the Good.
The Serpent Queen (Sky Show) is a rock 'n roll swearword-filled historical drama. Though the costumes are period, the language and music is modern. It tells the story of Catherine de Medici, Queen of France in the 16th century; raised as an orphan and sent to marry the King of France's second son by her uncle, the Pope. The title role is played by Samatha Morton.
