The Crow (cinema release) is the story of Eric Draven, a troubled young man who falls in love with Shelly, a young woman with a troubled past. When the two soulmates are brutally murdered, Eric is visited by a spirit guide and given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself - and so seeks revenge against Shellys killers. This is based on the original graphic novel and so not specifically a remake of the 1996 movie, but rather a reboot of the original story. Fire Country S02 (Sky Show) is the latest season about a group of firefighters with troubled pasts who have been given the opportunity to reduce prison sentences by volunteering for the California Conservation Camp program (a real-life program in partnership with Cal Fire). Our protaganist Bode is assigned to his hometown, which means confronting his dark past.
