Zurich researchers build crash free drone
Researchers in Zurich have developed what they call is a crash proof drone. One of the main reasons for drones losing control is a failure of one of the four rotors.
Using an algorithm, the new drone will be able to orientate itself before coming in for a controlled landing.
The system uses GPS tracking systems to accurately place itself which means it can overcome uncontrolled spinning, which is normally the result of a failed motor.
