Passengers at Zurich airport complained yesterday they were not able to maintain social distancing due to the crowds.

There was mild rush yesterday as people people flew marking the end of the holiday period.
The situation was not helped by the airport only having every second check in desk open to maintain distance between staff members.
One traveller told the Blick newspaper that’s idiotic.
The airport confirmed the queues – and said it was down to lower staff numbers. A spokesman pointed out yesterday was not particularly busy for a Sunday.
