Post Finance to charge negative rates
The bank Post Finance says it will be charging negative interest rates on any savings above CHF 100,000.

The new rates will take effect from February.
Post Finance says it will affect around 14,000 people – and they have received a letter telling them of the new rates.
The Swiss National Bank is currently paying negative rates of point 7% in an effort to stop the currency from climbing on the foreign exchange markets.
