Woman fined for breaking isolation leading to mass quarantine
A young woman in canton Solothurn has been fined for leaving her home and going to a party, despite testing positive for Covid-19 and being ordered to self-isolate.
Identified as Camilla T, the 21 year old went out to a party in Grenchen in June which led to 280 people having to quarantine and one person was infected.
The woman claims she was told by phone that her quarantine period had been shortened, but she needed to wait for written confirmation.
She was fined CHF 1,500 and also has to pay court costs of CHF 400.
