Mask wearing rules tightened in neighbouring France
The French department of Haute Savoie has made wearing a mask compulsory in many public spaces, including outside.
The rule in the neighboring France area applies to anyone over 11 years old.
Masks will have to worn around educational establishments, public transport stops and supermarket car parks. They will also have to be worn outside if more than 10 people are together.
The decree was issued yesterday and will stay in force until the end of the month – but it could be extended.
