Geneva airport considers solutions to cope with 'new normal' air traffic
Geneva airport is considering salary cuts and staff layoffs as it predicts traffic will not return to normal until 2022.
A leaked memo seen by Swiss French TV even suggests 2023 will also be below pre-pandemic levels.
The airport is examining a hiring freeze, early retirement and shorter working hours to bring costs down.
There are plans to meet staff to discuss the ideas later this month.
