Geneva sees unusually large number of storks
An unusually large number of storks have been seen over Geneva.
It’s not that strange at this time of year as the birds start their migration from northern Europe and head for Africa.
But locals are saying they have never seen so many before.
Flocks were seen mainly over Satigny as they follow the Rhone.
Experts say it’s a well-used route – they will head for Spain and cross to Africa over the Gibraltar straight.
