According to cantonal information, some people have been fined several times.

The most active canton is Vaud which has handed out more than 4,000 fines. Many at so-called ‘wild football matches’ – unscheduled games which attracted a large number of spectators.

Also canton Aargau is being very active. Despite having half the number of residents than neighboring Zurich, it has dished out double the fines.

Some fines are still with prosecutors due to appeals – such as the Sankt Gallen food truck owner who was fined CHF 7,000 for serving customers and a brothel owner fined CHF 8,000 as she refused to close, also in Sankt Gallen.
