Public confused by compulsory mask wearing on boats
People are generally adhering to the new law that makes mask wearing on public transport compulsory – but some are confused by boats.
The law has been in place for two weeks and Swiss Federal Railways say virtually all passengers are complying.
A spokesman says it's common that other passengers offer their spare mask if someone forgets.
But boat passengers feel it’s unnecessary to wear a mask while on deck.
The president of the Association of Swiss Shipping Companies, Stefan Schulthess, says people don’t seem to understand the law still applies.
