The vast majority of people wore masks on public transport yesterday - the first day of the new law which makes it compulsory.

Campaigner for a science-based containment policy, Simon Gehren, told the 20 minutes newspaper he’s not surprised, as people like clear rules. 

He’s also advising we all carry a spare mask for forgetful passengers. He says that can happen to anyone. 

Canton Jura has gone a step further and has ruled everyone should wear a mask to go shopping. 

The latest figures from the Federal Health Office, show in the last 24 hours, there have been 47 new cases – the third day the number has been under 100.
