Most expensive area to live in Switzerland revealed
We all know Switzerland is an expensive place to live – but where is the most expensive place in Switzerland?
According to a new study by UBS bank – that would be Cologny on the shores of Lake Geneva.
UBS calculates properties are valued at more than CHF 35,000 a square meter – making a home of 300 square meters worth more than CHF 10m.
That’s much more than equivalent properties on Lake Zurich. Around the prestigious communes of Zollikon and Kilchberg, a home would cost CHF 10,000 a square meter less.
Ticino would be a bargain, no property is above CHF 20,000 per square meter.
