Trains to Italy to restart next week
In another sign of life beginning to return to normal, Swiss Federal Railways say services to Italy will restart on Monday.
Although trains to other neighboring countries restarted last month, services to Italy remain suspended.
There will be limited trains to Italy starting next week, building up to a full timetable over the summer.
From Monday there will be two daily services from Geneva and Lausanne, and two from Basel and Zurich to Milan.
Passengers will be asked - but not compelled – to wear a mask while in Switzerland. Italian law requires a mask to be worn once over the border.
