Travellers warned to check destination rules ahead of time
Although many border controls have been lifted, would-be travellers are being warned to check ahead of time on where they want to travel.
It’s free to go to Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Poland and Luxembourg.
But extra checks maybe required for Greece, Cyprus and the Czech Republic.
Travelling to the UK means you’ll have to self-quarantine for two weeks. The Netherlands and Croatia needs travelers to have a pre-determined place to stay or you will be denied entry.
Scandinavian countries also have restrictions which may last until the end of the summer – except for Sweden which never locked down. You’d be welcome in Stockholm, but the country has one of the worst infection rates in the world.
Make sure you know the rules before heading to the airport.
