Those with mild symptoms encouraged to get free coronavirus test
Anyone with mild symptoms of the coronavirus is being urged to get tested for free at the Geneva University Hospital.
Geneva president Antonio Hodgers says it’s essential to avoid a second wave.
Free tests are available everyday between 9am and 5.30pm. It’s not necessary to make an appointment.
The mild symptoms include a dry cough, headache, muscle pain, sore throat or a loss of taste and smell.
The canton will pay for the tests – but those with more severe symptoms are still urged to call their doctor or an ambulance.
