Community to quarantine after schoolboy tests positive for Covid-19
Around 60 people in canton Basel Country are being told they have to quarantine after a 14-year-old schoolboy tested positive for Covid-19.
The boy is a student at a school in Therwil. About 45 of his classmates, 7 teachers and members of his family will all have to stay at home for the next 10 days.
The boy is in isolation and doing well, according to his family. Authorities say the school is remaining open.
Meanwhile, the number of new infections remains low. The Federal Health Office says there were 16 cases in the last 24 hours.
