Genève-Plage to limit visitors to 1,000
Although Genève-Plage will reopen on June 10th, social distancing measures means numbers will be very limited.
Normally the beach sees around 5,000 visitors a day during the summer – even up to 8,000 at peak times.
But the director, Christian Marchi, told the Tribune de Genève the rules mean no more than 1,000 can be admitted at any time.
Parts of the changing rooms will be closed and visitors are advised to come already changed.
