Police seize petrol bombs from young teens in canton Geneva
Geneva police seized weapons and petrol bombs from groups of young teenagers in Meyrin over the weekend.
The teens were around 13 years old and the groups came from Lignon in Geneva and Annemasse in France.
Several were arrested.
Police say the gangs had been engaged in low level violence throughout as week, throwing stones and chasing each other through the streets. About 50 youths are said to have been involved.
The fate of those arrested is now in the hands of the juvenile court system.
