The patients have been quarantined.

Doctors must report all possible cases to federal authorities within two hours under tighter new rules.

The Federal Health Office says the disease could spread to Switzerland, which is very popular with Asian tourists.

The office is also in contact with tour operators.

The minister for home affairs, Alain Berset, says the country is ready to handle an outbreak and is involved in international efforts to track the disease.
