Man accused of armed robberies 'didn't want to hurt anyone'
A man is in a Geneva court accused of a string of armed robberies.
The 25-year-old admitted in court he wanted the money to go out at night.
He’s accused of committing two robberies in 2016. In one at the Coop des Palettes in Lancy a store worker was injured when hit by a ricochet.
The man told the court he didn’t want to hurt anyone, and fired only to scare them. He says in subsequent robberies, the gun he carried was a fake.
He says he’s ashamed of what he did. The trial continues.
